Iruka couldn't quite believe what he was seeing when he came back from showering this evening.

"What... on earth... is this?"

"It's our christmas tree!", Kakashi chirped happily.

"That's-- ohh, Kakashi, that thing is too small. Can't you get a bigger one?"

"But, 'Ruka-kun, it's the small things in life that bring you joy!"

And after a small, awkward moment of complete silence, realizing what Kakashi just said, Iruka couldn't help but burst into laughter.
